Weatherby 307 Builders Action Long Standard Black Rifle Component
- Finish-Color:
- Black
The Weatherby 307 Builders Action Long Standard Black is a modern rifle action platform built for shooters who want to customize their rifle from the ground up. Weatherby's first new action design in over 50 years, the 307 was engineered specifically to work with the broadest range of aftermarket stocks, triggers, rails, mounts, and bottom metals available—giving you real flexibility when you're piecing together your next build. Whether you're a precision rifle builder, a long-range hunter, or a competitor who demands a proven platform, this long action handles standard-length magnum cartridges and delivers the same precision Weatherby has been known for since 1945.
The action's standout feature is its 2-lug bolt with tool-less takedown: disassembly and maintenance take seconds, with no gunsmith or special tools required. The 90-degree bolt throw keeps your scope mounted high and clear, and the bolt knob uses standard 5/16-24 threads—swap it for your preferred knob style in moments. The tenon threads are spec'd to the Remington 700 standard (1-1/16-16, .880 long), so you have access to an enormous selection of barrels and gunsmithing services. The magazine box accommodates 3.95" cartridge lengths, perfect for long-action magnum rounds.
Built for builders. Finished in tough graphite black Cerakote on both bolt and knob, the 307 action comes in at just 1.78 pounds, keeping your overall rifle weight reasonable when paired with your choice of barrel, stock, and hardware. If you've been waiting for a modern, support-rich action platform that won't lock you into a single manufacturer's ecosystem, this is it.
