The Tristar Arms Setter S/T is a 28" 410 GA over/under shotgun built for shooters who demand a refined, purpose-built gun without the premium price tag. The 410 bore is a favorite for upland game, clay sports, and anyone who appreciates a lighter recoil impulse and tighter shot patterns — and the Setter delivers the handling and accuracy you'd expect from a quality over/under platform. The 3" chamber and 28" barrels give you the right balance of swing weight and sight radius for wing shooting and trap, while the walnut furniture and engraved receiver make this a gun you won't mind showing off at the lodge.

Single selective trigger design means you can choose which barrel fires first—top or bottom—giving you tactical flexibility without breaking mount. The chrome-lined chambers and barrels protect against corrosion and extend barrel life, crucial if you're running this gun through wet fields or salty air. Turkish walnut stock and forearm with high gloss finish feel premium in hand and age gracefully with use. The vented top and mid ribs help manage recoil and heat signature, and the included fiber optic front sight cuts through early morning and late afternoon gloom so you don't miss your mark.

Five Beretta-style choke tubes (SK, IC, M, IM, F) let you tune the pattern for whatever you're hunting or shooting—swap them in seconds to dial in the right constriction for your distance and target. Whether you're running trap leagues, pursuing quail across Texas Hill Country, or introducing a younger shooter to the sport, the Setter S/T over/under shotgun gives you reliable, no-fuss performance with genuine craftsmanship you can feel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Tristar Setter S/T good for upland hunting and clay shooting?

Yes. The 410 bore is well-suited to upland game like quail and grouse, and the 28" barrels and single selective trigger make this gun equally at home running trap or skeet. The 3" chamber and included choke tubes let you tailor patterns for your specific hunt or course.

What choke tubes come with the Setter S/T?

The shotgun includes five Beretta-style choke tubes: SK (super-kill/full), IC (improved cylinder), M (modified), IM (improved modified), and F (full). You can swap them to match your shooting distance and target size.

Can I choose which barrel fires first on the single selective trigger?

Yes. The single selective trigger design lets you select barrel priority—top or bottom—before you mount the gun, giving you flexibility to choose your shot sequence.

Does the fiber optic sight help in low light?

The fiber optic front sight collects and amplifies available light, making it easier to pick up your target in early morning or late afternoon conditions common to upland hunting and evening clay shooting.
