The Tristar Trinity II over/under shotgun in .410 gauge is a lightweight, fast-handling option for hunters, sport shooters, and recoil-sensitive shooters who want the classic reliability of a true over/under platform. Built on an aluminum alloy receiver, the Trinity II delivers the pointed handling and quick sight picture that makes over/unders a favorite for upland bird hunting, clay sports, and small-game work. The 28-inch barrel strikes a balance between handling and sight radius, and the walnut stock adds traditional aesthetics and reasonable weight distribution for a .410.

Out of the box, this shotgun comes equipped with a set of CT-5 screw-in choke tubes (Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Cylinder) so you can tune the pattern for your load and distance. Extractors return the fired hulls as you open the action—a proven, user-friendly system that works reliably in the field. The fiber optic sight at the front of the receiver helps you find your target quickly in variable light, a practical feature for early-morning and late-evening hunting.

The Trinity II works well for younger or smaller-framed shooters stepping into over/unders, for introducing newcomers to shotgun sport, or for anyone who prefers .410 ballistics for ethical small-game and upland work. If you're looking for a straightforward, no-fuss over/under in a compact gauge, this is a legitimate choice that won't break the bank.

Frequently Asked Questions

What choke tubes come with the Tristar Trinity II?

The shotgun ships with five CT-5 screw-in choke tubes: Full (F), Improved Modified (IM), Modified (M), Improved Cylinder (IC), and Cylinder (C). This range lets you adjust constriction based on your ammunition and shooting distance.

Is the Tristar Trinity II good for youth or new shooters?

The .410 gauge and aluminum receiver keep recoil and weight down, making the Trinity II a reasonable choice for younger or smaller-framed shooters. The 28-inch barrels also provide manageable length and weight for proper gun handling and follow-up shots.

Can you use the Tristar Trinity II for upland bird hunting?

Yes. The over/under layout, .410 ballistics, and included choke tubes make it viable for upland work such as quail, woodcock, and grouse hunting. The fiber optic sight and quick-opening action support the fast, instinctive shooting these hunts often demand.

What does "extractor" mean on this shotgun?

An extractor automatically lifts and partially ejects the fired cartridge hull when you open the action, so you can easily remove it by hand. This is simpler to use than a traditional ejector in the field and still reliably clears spent rounds.
