The Traditions Frontier 1873 Standard .45 LC revolver pairs authentic single-action heritage with modern safety features. Built on a steel frame and chambered in .45 LC, this 5.5" barrel model delivers the classic feel and reliable performance that hunters and shooters expect from a 1873-pattern revolver. The color case hardened finish and walnut grips give it visual appeal that matches its functional design—a practical choice for both range work and field use.

What sets the Frontier apart is Traditions' transfer bar safety system, engineered into a single-action platform without compromising the mechanical simplicity that shooters value. This revolver cycles as a traditional 1873 should: intuitive, dependable, and built to last. The 6-shot cylinder provides plenty of capacity for hunting applications or extended range sessions. If you're shopping for a .45 LC revolver that respects the design lineage while adding a layer of modern safety engineering, this is a compelling option.

Traditions has focused on quality finishes and construction throughout the Frontier line. The color case hardening on this model isn't just cosmetic—it's a nod to period-correct manufacturing while delivering practical durability. The walnut grip is comfortable for extended shooting and complements the overall aesthetic. Whether you're drawn to single-action revolvers for cowboy action, hunting, or historical interest, the Frontier 1873 Standard deserves a place in your consideration.
