The Traditions Frontier 1873 Liberty is a large-frame .45 LC revolver built on the classic single-action design that's stood the test of time in the American West. This blue-finished SAT73-122LIB model brings authentic cowboy-era styling to shooters and collectors who appreciate traditional revolver handling and the full-power ballistics of the .45 Colt cartridge. Whether you're after a dependable range gun, a hunting revolver, or a piece that honors Old West aesthetics, the Liberty combines period-correct lines with modern manufacturing standards.

Single-action revolvers demand deliberate shooting and reward marksmanship—there's no trigger-cocking mechanism to hide behind, just you, the gun, and your fundamentals. The large frame of the Liberty is built to manage .45 LC recoil and provide a comfortable grip for extended shooting sessions. The blue finish gives it a classic look that ages well and pairs with traditional leather holsters and period-appropriate gear.

Traditions has focused on keeping these revolvers affordable and accessible to shooters who want the single-action experience without a five-figure investment in vintage iron. If you're assembling a cowboy-action rig, adding to a collection, or simply want to shoot something that feels like it came straight out of the 1870s, the Frontier 1873 Liberty deserves a close look.
