The Taylors & Company 1892 Carbine in .357 Mag is a lever-action rifle that brings authentic Winchester-era handling to modern shooting sports. Built as a faithful replica of John M. Browning's original 1892 design, this 20-inch carbine combines historical accuracy with the smooth, reliable action that made the platform legendary among cowboys and frontier shooters. At just 6.2 lbs, it's handy enough for a day in the saddle or fast-paced competitions, yet offers the stopping power and capacity serious shooters demand. The case-hardened frame and blued finish deliver that classic appearance—functional beauty that looks right whether you're running Cowboy Action Shooting stages or simply enjoying lever-gun traditions.

What sets the 1892 apart from its larger 1886 predecessor is Browning's simplified elevator and feeding system, designed originally to handle shorter cartridges efficiently. The .357 Mag chambering makes this carbine practical for hunting medium game, target work, and sport shooting without the recoil of larger rifle rounds. The walnut stock with oil finish feels solid and period-correct in your hands, while the ladder rear sight and blade front sight provide a quick-target picture that's proven itself over more than a century of hard use.

Whether you're drawn to Cowboy Action Shooting, lever-gun collecting, or simply want a rifle that handles like it was born in the 1800s but runs like it was made yesterday, the 1892 Carbine delivers on all counts. Ten-round capacity, 38-inch overall length, and that unmistakable lever-action rhythm make it a working rifle, not a safe queen.
