The Taylors & Co 1873 Comanchero .357 Mag lever action rifle is a modern take on a classic action that brings both style and shootability to the lever gun crowd. This 20-inch barreled rifle splits the difference between handiness and sight radius, making it equally at home in brush country or on the range. Chambered in .357 Magnum, it handles both full-power rifle rounds and reduced-load pistol ammunition, giving you real versatility in a single firearm. The 10-round capacity and short-stroke action deliver quick follow-up shots when you need them, while the case-hardened frame and straight walnut stock with checkering give it genuine character—the kind that comes from thoughtful design, not cosmetic afterthoughts.

Build quality matters on a lever gun, and Taylors & Co rifles undergo custom tuning at the factory. You get a buckhorn rear sight and gold bead front sight right out of the box, both proven designs that work. The package also includes a buckskin lever wrap and butt stock cover—practical touches that protect your hands from cold metal and your stock from wear. At 7.59 lbs, it's light enough to carry but substantial enough to shoot comfortably, and the 38.87-inch overall length keeps it maneuverable in tight spaces.

Whether you're a lever-action purist, a .357 enthusiast looking to stretch the cartridge's range, or just someone who appreciates a rifle that looks and feels like it was built to work, the Comanchero delivers. The brown wood finish and case-hardened frame aren't trying to be tactical—they're honest aesthetics backed by function. This is a rifle that works in the real world: brush country, timber, ranch work, or the shooting bench.
