The Taylors & Co 1873 Cattleman Revolver in .44 Magnum brings authentic Old West handling to modern shooting. Built on a forged frame in the tradition of Colt's single-action designs, this .44 Mag revolver pairs classic aesthetics with the stopping power shooters trust for hunting and sport shooting. The larger Army-size grip accommodates the magnum cartridge's recoil while maintaining the ergonomic profile that made the original Cattleman a legend.
Chambered in .44 Magnum, this six-shot revolver delivers serious velocity and energy—ideal for hunting medium to large game or for shooters who want genuine magnum performance in a historically authentic package. The 6-inch barrel strikes the balance between sight radius and practical carry weight, while the blued finish and walnut grips deliver that unmistakable western look. Fixed sights keep the design simple and reliable, and the 11.5-inch overall length makes it manageable in the field or at the range.
Whether you're a Cowboy Action competitor, a lever-gun hunter seeking a sidearm, or simply drawn to single-action revolvers with real heritage, the Taylors & Co Cattleman offers honest construction and proven handling. Taylor Tuning is available for those wanting a refined trigger break. This is a working revolver with character—no mall-ninja nonsense, just gun-counter credibility in blued steel and walnut.
