The Taylors & Co 1873 Cattleman 7.5" .45 LC revolver in classic standard finish is a faithful reproduction of the single-action revolver that defined the American West. Built on a New Model frame with a forged construction, this .45 LC wheelgun combines historical authenticity with practical shooting performance. Whether you're a Cowboy Action Sport shooter, a collector, or someone drawn to the romance of traditional revolvers, the Cattleman delivers the look, feel, and reliability that made the original legendary.
What sets this revolver apart is attention to period-correct detail combined with modern manufacturing. The case-hardened frame contrasts beautifully with the blued steel parts, while the walnut grip and fixed sights stay true to the original design. The Navy-size grip and wider front blade sight are thoughtfully scaled for real-world handling, and the spring-retained cylinder pin means faster reloads without fumbling. At 2.70 pounds and 13.1 inches overall, the 7.5-inch barrel version balances sight radius and shootability with manageable carry weight.
The .45 LC chambering is a proven cartridge with a loyal following among traditional shooters. With six rounds on tap and a smooth single-action trigger, this Cattleman is ready for the range, the field, or the competition line.
