The Taurus TH9C is a compact 9mm hammer-fired pistol built for shooters who want a reliable, straightforward single-action/double-action carry gun without the fuss or the premium price tag. At just 25 ounces with a 3.54-inch barrel and overall length of 6.85 inches, it fits the sweet spot between concealability and shootability—manageable enough for IWB carry, with enough grip real estate and sight radius to run it accurately at typical defensive distances. This isn't a safe-queen: it's designed for the hunter, sport shooter, or everyday carrier who values function and durability over brand cachet.
The TH9C's SA/DA trigger system gives you the safety margin of a decocked hammer in daily carry, with single-action sharpness available once you've pressed the trigger on the first shot. The manual safety is positioned where your thumb naturally rests, and the Novak drift-adjustable sights (front and rear) let you dial in your preferred zero without special tools. Thirteen rounds plus one in the chamber means you're carrying modern defensive capacity from a frame that doesn't bloat your waistband.
Polymer grips keep weight down and provide a secure, non-slip purchase in dry or damp conditions. The compact profile and proven Taurus reliability make this gun equally at home in a nightstand drawer, a truck glove box, or an appendix holster. It's the kind of pistol that rewards regular practice and doesn't ask you to choose between performance and practicality.
