The Taurus G3XL SR 9mm is a full-size striker-fired pistol built for shooters who want a reliable, straightforward defensive or range gun without the premium price tag. The 4-inch barrel and 12-round magazine give you capacity and control in a proven platform that Taurus has refined across thousands of handguns. Whether you're outfitting your nightstand, building a home-defense setup, or putting rounds downrange at the local range, the G3XL SR delivers the ergonomics and dependability that working shooters expect.
Striker-fired operation means a consistent trigger press shot to shot—no manual safety to fumble in a critical moment, and no decocker to manage. The black finish is classic and practical, resisting handling wear better than polished steel. At this price point, the G3XL SR is accessible for first-time pistol buyers, backup gun builders, and budget-conscious shooters who refuse to compromise on function.
Like any defensive or duty pistol, take time to train with it. Put rounds through it at the range, learn its ergonomics, and decide whether any aftermarket upgrades (sights, grips, holsters) suit your needs. A quality holster and magazine carriers will round out your setup—we can help you find those too.
