The Taurus G3C TORO is a compact 9mm pistol built for shooters who want serious defensive capability in a package that fits everyday carry and training regimens. This striker-fired handgun delivers the performance fundamentals of the proven G3 platform in a frame sized for concealment and control—all with a factory-cut optic mount that lets you run a micro red dot right out of the box. If you're looking for a dependable 9mm carry gun without the gunsmith fees or extended downtime, the G3C TORO's optic-ready design removes that barrier.
Taurus engineered the TORO system with an ingenious interchangeable plate mounting solution that accommodates a broad range of popular micro red dots on the market, so you're not locked into a single optic ecosystem. The 3.2-inch barrel keeps sight radius tight for point-and-shoot speed while the overall length of 6.3 inches stays compact enough for strong concealment. At 22 ounces and less than 1.2 inches wide, the G3C carries like a modern EDC pistol should. A single-action striker mechanism with re-strike capability and three included 12-round magazines give you the ammunition capacity and reliability features serious self-defense shooters expect.
Safety is layered: the loaded chamber indicator lets you verify condition at a glance, a manual safety lever is there if you want it, and a striker block and trigger safety prevent unintended discharge. Fixed front and drift-adjustable rear sights ship standard, ready to co-witness with your optic or serve as fallback irons. The stainless steel barrel is finished matte, the slide is Tenifer-treated matte black, and the polymer frame is black—a practical, durable combination that won't demand fussy upkeep in the field or at the range.
The G3C TORO continues the G-series tradition of delivering real performance at a cost-conscious price point. Whether you're building a do-it-all EDC pistol, training for self-defense proficiency, or stocking a truck gun, this compact Taurus gives you the foundation to do it right.
