The Taurus G3C 9mm is a compact striker-fired pistol built for shooters who want a reliable, affordable EDC handgun without compromise. Built on the proven G-series platform that's earned a reputation for dependability, the G3C shrinks the full-size design into a carry-friendly package with a 3.2-inch barrel and 12-round magazine capacity. Whether you're heading to the range, the woods, or carrying daily for personal defense, this 22-ounce pistol delivers the balance of power, shootability, and control that makes it a smart choice for first-time buyers and seasoned carriers alike.
What sets the G3C apart is how it manages to be genuinely compact without feeling underpowered or difficult to shoot. The 6.3-inch overall length and 1.2-inch width make it holster-friendly, while the 12-round capacity means you're not sacrificing firepower for portability. It's the kind of practical compromise that actually works in real-world carry situations—not too big, not too small, and handling 9mm without flinch or hassle.
The G3C comes with a striker block safety and manual safety lever, plus a loaded chamber indicator and trigger safety for additional security. Fixed front and drift-adjustable rear sights keep you on target, and the single-action-with-restrike mechanism gives you a crisp, consistent trigger pull. For the money, this pistol punches well above its weight class in terms of ergonomics and reliability—something the G-series has been known for since its introduction.
