The Sig Sauer P226 ZEV TB is a 9mm pistol built for shooters who demand precision and reliability without compromise. This isn't a stock service gun—it's a custom-shop collaboration between Sig and ZEV Technologies that brings match-grade upgrades to one of the most trusted duty and competition platforms ever made. Whether you're running it at the range, in a defensive role, or on the competition circuit, the P226 ZEV delivers the accuracy and control that separate good shooting from great shooting.

ZEV's engineering shows throughout. The custom slide and frame are paired with a threaded 4.9-inch barrel and cap, giving you modularity if you want to add a suppressor down the road. The G10 grip panels by Hogue—also custom from ZEV—offer aggressive texture and ergonomic shaping that keeps the gun locked in your hand during recoil. Inside, you'll find a single-action-only flat trigger that breaks clean and predictably, ideal for precision work. Three 15-round magazines come in the box, so you've got plenty of capacity to practice or deploy.

The Romeo 1 Pro red dot mounted directly to the slide works beautifully with the ZEV fiber optic backup sights, giving you a modern sight picture that's fast on target. The fiber optic front sight gathers ambient light for enhanced visibility in varied conditions. Build quality across the board is Sig's alloy frame with hard-coat anodize and a durable black DLC barrel finish—both designed to withstand serious use. At 34.1 ounces loaded and 8.6 inches overall, the P226 ZEV balances substantial control and manageable ergonomics.

If you've been thinking about stepping up to a precision 9mm platform with factory upgrades already installed, this is the gun that lets you shoot from day one without chasing parts catalogs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a suppressor on this P226 ZEV?

Yes. The custom ZEV threaded barrel is designed for suppressor mounting, and a thread cap is included. You'll want to verify compatibility with your specific suppressor, but the 4.9-inch threaded barrel gives you that flexibility out of the box.

What optic comes on this gun?

The Sig Romeo 1 Pro red dot is installed and factory-mounted on the slide. It works in conjunction with the ZEV fiber optic backup sights, so you have a primary optic and iron sight backup system ready to use.

What's the difference between this and a standard P226?

This is a purpose-built collaboration with ZEV Technologies that includes a custom slide and frame, ZEV-designed grip panels, a threaded barrel, a factory red dot, premium fiber optic sights, and a single-action-only trigger. These are significant upgrades over a base P226 and come assembled from the factory.

How many magazines does it come with?

Three 15-round magazines are included with the pistol.
