The Remington 870 FieldMaster 20-gauge pump action shotgun is a proven workhorse built on seven decades of 870 heritage—now offered at an accessible price point for hunters and sport shooters who demand reliability without compromise. This 26" barrel model delivers the same solid steel receiver and smooth dual-action-bar operation that made the 870 America's favorite pump gun, dressed in a practical matte black finish that's built to handle field use, not impress on a rack.

The receiver is milled from solid steel for genuine strength and durability. The improved twin action bars cycle cleanly without binding or twisting, ensuring you'll always have a smooth, fast second shot when it matters. A grade A walnut stock complements the no-nonsense black metalwork, giving you a shotgun that looks ready to work. The barrel is drilled and tapped for scope mounting if you want to add glass, and a single white bead provides a clean, instinctive sight picture for wing shooting and close-range hunting scenarios.

The FieldMaster handles both 2¾" and 3" shells, giving you flexibility in ammunition choice across different hunting situations and clay target sports. You'll get three flush Rem Chokes—Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full—letting you adapt to everything from open-field pass shooting to tighter patterns in timber or over water. Sling studs on the magazine cap and stock let you rig it for hands-free carry in the field. A cable lock, magazine plug, and choke tube wrench round out what's in the box.

If you're looking for a 20-gauge pump shotgun that inherits 870 ergonomics and durability at an entry-level price, the FieldMaster is a straightforward choice for upland hunting, waterfowl, clay target shooting, or home defense.
