The Remington 870 Fieldmaster 20ga pump action shotgun with 28" barrel brings proven 870 reliability to hunters and sport shooters looking for honest, affordable performance. Built on the same steel-milled receiver that's anchored the 870 lineup for over 70 years, this 20-gauge delivers the smooth, dependable action that made the 870 America's favorite pump gun—without the premium price tag. Whether you're working upland birds, duck marshes, clay courses, or home defense, the Fieldmaster gives you a versatile platform that cycles 2¾" and 3" shells with equal authority.

The 28" vent-rib barrel with white bead sight is the classic upland and waterfowl profile, and Remington backs it with three flush-mounted Rem Chokes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full) so you can dial in the right pattern for your hunt. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting if you want to glass your target, and the non-reflective matte black metalwork won't spook game or catch light in the blind. Grade A walnut furniture and sling studs give you a shotgun built to work, not to hang on a wall.

What sets the Fieldmaster apart is its twin action bar system, engineered to prevent binding and twisting so your second and third shots come just as clean as the first. That's the mechanical foundation 870 users have trusted since the Eisenhower era. The solid steel receiver, drilled-and-tapped for optics and backed by improved ergonomics, makes the Fieldmaster a sensible choice for anyone who values field-proven design over flashy marketing.
