20" Free-Floating Button-Rifled

The Remington 783 bolt-action rifle in .350 Legend with a 20" barrel and synthetic black stock brings genuine accuracy and reliability to hunters who want a straightforward, well-built gun without the premium price tag. This is a modern platform built from the ground up by Remington's engineering team, drawing on over 50 years of bolt-action expertise but designed as a completely new rifle. The .350 Legend chambering makes it a smart choice for mid-range hunting in states with specific regulations, offering a compact, efficient cartridge in a rifle built to perform.

The foundation of the 783 is its dual pillar-bedded synthetic stock—a high-nylon-fiber design that free-floats the barrel and delivers the kind of shot-to-shot consistency that separates a reliable hunting rifle from a mediocre one. The stock is also fitted with a Supercell recoil pad, which helps manage the rifle's kick and improve your control behind the gun. You get factory-installed scope mounts right out of the box, and the 783 is also compatible with Model 700 front scope bases if you want to swap optics down the road.

Trigger control matters, and the 783 comes equipped with Remington's CrossFire trigger system—fully adjustable so you can dial it in to your preference. The detachable steel magazine holds four rounds in standard calibers (including .350 Legend), and the steel latch is built to last. Sling mounts are standard, and like any Remington bolt-action, this rifle is designed for a lifetime of dependable hunting. It's the kind of workhorse that rewards good shooting technique and honest maintenance.
