The Remington 700 Sendero SF II in .300 Win Mag is built for hunters and long-range shooters who demand precision from the box. Built on Remington's legendary Model 700 action, the Sendero SF II combines a heavy 26-inch stainless steel barrel with a HS Precision composite stock to deliver the kind of shot-to-shot consistency that separates this rifle from typical production rifles. The 5R rifling and concave target-style crown focus on accuracy, while the 5/8x24 threaded muzzle gives you flexibility to add a suppressor or muzzle brake to suit your setup.

The engineering here is purpose-built for precision. Six longitudinal flutes in the barrel shed heat faster and reduce weight without sacrificing rigidity. The receiver is machined from solid steel bar stock with a cylindrical design that beds solidly in the stock, and the recessed bolt face creates a three-ring-steel enclosure around the cartridge case head for strength and reliability. Full-length aluminum bedding blocks in the HS Precision stock anchor the barreled action and support consistency shot after shot.

The stock itself is no afterthought—aramid fiber reinforcement, a contoured beavertail fore-end with ambidextrous finger grooves, and a palm swell combine to give you a comfortable, stable platform. Dual front swivel studs let you mount both a bipod and a sling without compromise. A hinged floor plate makes loading and unloading intuitive. Whether you're stretching your shots across open country or hunting big game in demanding terrain, the Sendero SF II is engineered to put your bullets where you intend them.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a suppressor on the Sendero SF II?

Yes. The 26-inch barrel has a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle that accepts standard suppressors and muzzle brakes in that pattern.

What's included with the rifle?

The rifle ships as a complete bolt-action rifle with the HS Precision stock, barrel, and receiver assembled. A hinged floor plate is standard.

Is this rifle suitable for long-range hunting?

The Sendero SF II is engineered for precision shooting. The heavy barrel, 5R rifling, aluminum bedding blocks, and composite stock are all designed for accuracy, making it well-suited to long-range hunting applications where shot placement matters.

What's the purpose of the flutes in the barrel?

The six longitudinal flutes reduce barrel weight while increasing surface area for heat dissipation, allowing the barrel to cool faster between shots without sacrificing the rigidity needed for accuracy.
