The Remington 700 Long Range in .300 Win Mag is a purpose-built bolt-action rifle engineered for shooters who demand consistent precision at distance. Built on Remington's legendary Model 700 action, this rifle pairs a 26-inch heavy-contour barrel with a HS Precision stock designed to stabilize your shot and support repeatable accuracy whether you're hunting big game at extended range or working on tight groups at the bench.

The .300 Win Mag delivers the velocity and power needed for long-range performance, while the 26-inch threaded barrel (5/8 x 24) gives you the flexibility to add a suppressor or muzzle device to suit your setup. A concave target-style crown protects the barrel's bore and helps maintain consistency shot to shot. The receiver is machined from solid steel and features the Model 700's signature three-rings-of-steel design—the recessed bolt face locks inside the counter-bored breech, surrounded by the receiver, creating a robust enclosure around the cartridge case head for the strength and safety hunters and shooters expect from a Remington.

The HS Precision stock includes a receiver-length aluminum bedding block and vertical grip for a natural, comfortable hold. Dual swivel studs let you mount a sling however you prefer. A hinged floor-plate makes loading and unloading smooth, while the rifle ships drilled and tapped for scope rings, so you can get optics mounted and get to the range. The integral extractor is set in a groove inside the bolt face for uniform cartridge support.

This is a rifle built for hunters and precision shooters who take their long-range shooting seriously and want a time-tested platform backed by over 60 years of Model 700 heritage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the magazine capacity for the .300 Win Mag?

The Remington 700 Long Range holds 3 rounds in the .300 Win Mag magnum caliber.

Is the muzzle threaded, and can I add a suppressor?

Yes. The barrel is threaded at 5/8 x 24, the standard for magnum rifles, so you can attach a suppressor, brake, or other muzzle device compatible with that thread pattern.

Do I need to buy scope rings separately?

Yes. The rifle comes drilled and tapped for scope mounts, but rings and a scope are not included. You'll need to source those separately based on your optic choice.

What makes the Model 700 accurate at long range?

The combination of a heavy-contour 26-inch barrel, a reinforced receiver machined from solid steel, the HS Precision stock with aluminum bedding for stability, and the Model 700's proven three-rings-of-steel design all work together to support consistent, repeatable precision at distance.
