The Remington 700 Sendero SF II in 7mm PRC is a purpose-built long-range hunting rifle that delivers match-grade accuracy out of the box. Built on Remington's legendary Model 700 cylindrical action, the Sendero SF II combines a 26-inch heavy stainless steel barrel with a reinforced composite stock and full-length aluminum bedding blocks—the foundation of a rifle engineered for consistency from shot to shot. If you're serious about precision at distance and demand a rifle that shoots like a custom build without the custom price tag, this is the platform to hunt with.

The 26-inch barrel features six longitudinal flutes that reduce overall weight while accelerating heat dissipation—critical when you're working up loads or testing ammunition at the range. A threaded muzzle (5/8 x 24) gives you the flexibility to add a suppressor or muzzle brake to suit your shooting style. The 5R rifling and concave target-style crown contribute to the exceptional accuracy this rifle is known for, while the hinged floorplate allows quick cartridge access when you need it.

Ergonomics matter in the field, and the HS Precision stock delivers. Its aramid fiber-reinforced composite construction is paired with a contoured beavertail fore-end, ambidextrous finger grooves, and a palm swell that accommodates both right- and left-handed shooters. Twin front swivel studs accept both a sling and bipod, giving you stable shooting positions whether you're glassing from a ridge or anchored at the bench. The full-length aluminum bedding blocks provide a rock-solid platform for the barreled action, eliminating the variables that throw off accuracy.

Under the hood, the receiver is machined from solid steel bar stock and features Remington's three-rings-of-steel design—the recessed bolt face locks into a counter-bored breech, surrounded by the receiver itself, creating a fortress of strength around the cartridge case head. The integral extractor sits in a groove inside the bolt face rim, uniformly supporting the cartridge during firing and extraction. This is a rifle built to last and perform.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I add a suppressor or muzzle brake to this rifle?

Yes. The 26-inch barrel comes factory threaded at 5/8 x 24, which is a standard muzzle thread pattern. You can attach a suppressor, muzzle brake, flash hider, or other compatible muzzle device to suit your shooting needs.

What makes the 700 Sendero SF II so accurate out of the box?

The rifle combines several accuracy-enhancing features: a 26-inch heavy stainless steel barrel with 5R rifling and a concave target-style crown, a cylindrical Model 700 action machined from solid steel, full-length aluminum bedding blocks integrated into the stock, and a reinforced composite stock that creates a stable platform for the barrel and action. These elements work together to deliver the precision you'd expect from a custom build.

Is this rifle suitable for left-handed shooters?

The HS Precision stock features ambidextrous finger grooves and a palm swell designed to accommodate both right- and left-handed shooters comfortably. However, the bolt throw itself is right-hand, so confirm action orientation with Bosque Outdoors if left-hand operation is a requirement for your hunt.

What ammunition should I use with the 7mm PRC?

The 7mm PRC is the factory chamber for this rifle. We recommend consulting Remington's load data and working with quality ammunition manufacturers to develop loads that perform best in your specific barrel. Your local Bosque Outdoors team can offer guidance on finding ammunition that shoots well in this platform.
