The Pietta Gwii U.S. Marshal .45 LC revolver brings authentic Old West character to the shooting line—a single-action sixgun styled after the iconic sidearms carried by federal lawmen who shaped frontier history. Built on Pietta's proven platform and chambered in .45 Colt, this 4.75" barrel revolver pairs practical shooting geometry with historically inspired details that appeal to Cowboy Action shooters, black powder enthusiasts, and anyone who values genuine revolver heritage.
What sets this gun apart is its attention to period-correct aesthetics without compromising function. The casehardened finish on the frame and steel components delivers that authentic patina, while the brass backstrap and triggerguard evoke the gunsmiths of the 1870s and 1880s. The walnut grip is hand-fitted and finished to bring out the wood's character—comfortable in the hand and built to handle shooting sessions from the hip or from a bench. The U.S. Marshal engraving on the grip tells the story of the men who carried similar iron across Deadwood, Tombstone, and the Indian Territory.
The 4.75" barrel is the classic length for single-action revolvers, offering a balance between sight radius for accurate shooting and handling speed that made these guns legendary. Whether you're loading .45 Colt cowboy rounds for SASS events, shooting period-correct black powder loads, or simply enjoying a piece of American shooting history, this Pietta delivers reliable, traditional single-action performance.
