The Pietta Gwii US Marshal is a .357 Magnum revolver built for shooters who appreciate historical character alongside practical performance. With its 4.75-inch barrel and classic single-action design, this revolver channels the spirit of the frontier lawmen who shaped American history—while delivering genuine shooting capability for sport, collecting, or defensive use. The casehardened finish on the frame gives it that authentic period appearance, while modern manufacturing ensures reliability.

Built around the .357 Magnum cartridge, the Gwii US Marshal fires both full-power .357 loads and lighter .38 Special rounds, giving you flexibility at the range or in the field. The 4.75-inch barrel length is the classic quick-draw proportion favored by working lawmen and is still prized today for its balance between velocity and handling. The casehardened and brass backstrap and triggerguard add visual depth and authenticity without compromising function.

The walnut grip is both comfortable and durable, providing a secure purchase whether you're shooting in single or double-action mode. The US Marshal engraving work pays homage to the legends of the Old West—Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and the countless marshals who brought order to lawless territories. This is a revolver for the shooter who wants a working gun with a story baked into every detail.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I shoot .38 Special ammo in this .357 Magnum revolver?

Yes. The Pietta Gwii US Marshal is chambered in .357 Magnum, which safely fires both .357 Magnum and .38 Special ammunition. This gives you flexibility for practice, reduced recoil shooting, or matching ammo to your specific needs.

What's the difference between this 4.75-inch barrel and other barrel lengths?

The 4.75-inch barrel is the classic cowboy quick-draw length—it balances velocity, accuracy, and handling speed in a way that became iconic in the Old West. It's shorter and faster to draw than longer barrels, but still provides solid .357 performance.

Is this a good revolver for collecting or just shooting?

The Pietta Gwii US Marshal works as both. The historical engraving and casehardened finish appeal to collectors of Old West firearms, but it's a functional single-action revolver that shoots accurately and reliably. Whether you want it on your shelf or at the range, it delivers.

What kind of grip does it have?

The revolver is fitted with a walnut grip featuring US Marshal engraving. Walnut is a classic material that's both comfortable and durable for shooting, and the engraving adds to the historical character.
