The Pietta GWII Deluxe California .357 Magnum revolver is a modern take on a classic single-action design, purpose-built for shooters who want authentic style without compromise on features. This 4.75" barrel model steps up from the standard lineup with checkered walnut grips and case-hardened finish, delivering the kind of refined working revolver that appeals equally to cowboy action shooters, historical reenactors, and anyone serious about traditional revolver mechanics. The .357 Magnum chambering gives you genuine versatility—shoot lighter .38 Special loads for reduced recoil or reach for full-power magnums when you need it, all in the same gun.
Pietta built the Great Western II line with the kind of attention to detail you'd expect from a maker steeped in single-action history. The checkered walnut grips on this Deluxe model provide both visual warmth and genuine control—a step above basic grips and previously reserved for their custom builds. Case-hardened finishing on the frame adds durability and visual authenticity without the brittle brittleness of hard chrome. The 4.75" barrel strikes a practical balance: long enough for decent sight radius and velocity, short enough for reasonable handling in the field or at the line.
Whether you're loading for Cowboy Action Shooting, seeking a traditional .357 revolver for hunting or sport, or building a historically accurate single-action collection, this California-style frame with Deluxe appointments delivers. The .357 Magnum chambering, sturdy construction, and thoughtful grip selection make it a genuine tool, not just a replica.
