The Magnum Research BFR 500 JRH 7.5" stainless steel revolver is a specialized big-bore wheelgun built for hunters and shooters who demand serious stopping power in a handgun. Chambered in the potent .500 JRH cartridge, this five-shot revolver delivers the kind of ballistic authority you need for hunting large game or backup defense in remote terrain. The 7.5" barrel balances accuracy and portability, while the brushed stainless steel construction handles harsh field conditions without flinching.

This is a purpose-built tool, not a casual range gun. The .500 JRH cartridge packs devastating energy, and the BFR's reputation for reliability and durability in magnum-class revolvers is well-earned. The Bisley grip design provides control and comfort during firing, and the fixed front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight gives you a practical aiming system that works in the field. With a trigger pull in the 3–4 lb range, the action breaks clean and predictable.

At 13.75" overall length and 6" in height, this revolver sits at the larger end of the handgun spectrum—a deliberate trade-off for the power it delivers. Shooters choosing a .500 JRH revolver aren't looking for carry convenience; they're looking for efficacy in situations where a rifle isn't practical. If you hunt in dense cover, work in wild country, or need a sidearm with genuine stopping authority, the BFR's reputation speaks for itself.
