The Inland 1911 Custom Carry .45 ACP pistol delivers classic 1911 ergonomics and proven .45 ACP stopping power in a compact, carry-ready package. Built on the time-tested single-action, short recoil-operated design that has served shooters for over a century, this stainless steel model combines reliability with the durability you need for everyday carry, home defense, or range work. The 5-inch barrel strikes a practical balance—long enough for accuracy and velocity, short enough to conceal without excessive bulk.

Inland Manufacturing's Custom Carry variant prioritizes what matters to working shooters: a clean, efficient platform without unnecessary frills. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion and wear, making it well-suited to field use and varied climates. At 2.51 pounds unloaded, it carries reasonably, though still substantial enough to manage recoil and track your shots downrange. The 7-round magazine capacity is standard for compact 1911s in .45 ACP, balancing firepower with the slim profile that makes carry practical.

Sighting is handled by original Novak fixed sights with dovetail mounting and windage drift adjustment—a no-nonsense setup that's been proven on thousands of 1911s. These aren't fancy night sights, but they're dependable, fast to acquire, and easy to tune. If you're a 1911 purist who wants a carry gun that doesn't pretend to be something it isn't, this Inland stainless steel model is worth your attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this 1911 suitable for concealed carry?

Yes. The 5-inch barrel and overall 8.27-inch length keep the gun reasonably compact, and at 2.51 pounds it carries without excessive weight. Stainless steel durability is a bonus if you're carrying daily in varying conditions. Magazine capacity at 7 rounds is typical for compact .45 ACP 1911s.

Can I adjust the sights?

The Novak fixed sights include windage drift adjustment, so you can tune your point of aim left and right as needed. They are mounted in dovetails, which is standard 1911 configuration.

What magazine comes with the pistol?

The product record confirms the gun ships with a 7-round detachable box magazine. Verify with Bosque Outdoors for details on additional magazines or accessories included in the package.

Is this gun reliable for defensive use?

The Inland 1911 Custom Carry uses the single-action, short recoil-operated design that has been proven in military and civilian defensive roles for decades. Reliability depends on proper maintenance, ammunition selection, and shooter competence. Start with quality .45 ACP ammunition and practice regularly.
