The IFG Tanfoglio Stock III Polymer 10mm pistol is a competition-focused semi-automatic built for shooters who demand accuracy and reliability in the Production Division format. With its 4.75" barrel, steel slide, and polymer frame, this pistol balances durability with manageable weight—a practical choice for IPSC competitors and serious 10mm enthusiasts who value practical ergonomics without unnecessary bulk.

The Stock III combines proven Tanfoglio geometry with a single-side safety lever, giving you fast, instinctive operation during rapid-fire strings. The steel slide cycles 10mm energy reliably, while the polymer frame keeps the gun responsive and comfortable during extended practice sessions. This is a working pistol: straightforward controls, no gimmicks, designed for the shooter who prioritizes hitting targets quickly and consistently.

Whether you're prepping for your next match or running drills at the range, the Tanfoglio Stock III Polymer delivers the performance and handling you need to stay competitive. 10mm shooters who've moved beyond stock production pistols will recognize the careful engineering here—this isn't a factory gun pretending to be a race gun; it's purpose-built from the ground up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Tanfoglio Stock III Polymer legal for IPSC Production Division competition?

Yes—this pistol is designed to comply with IPSC Production Division specifications, including the single-side safety and overall dimensions. Always verify current division rules with your match director, as regulations can change.

What's the advantage of 10mm in a competition pistol?

10mm offers higher velocity and energy than 9mm in a standard-frame package, which some competitors prefer for speed and flatter trajectories at distance. It's also a proven hunting and defensive round if you use your competition gun for other purposes.

How does the polymer frame affect durability?

Modern competition-grade polymer frames are engineered for long service life. The combination of a steel slide with a polymer frame reduces mass while maintaining the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy and reliable function through thousands of rounds.
