Heritage Rough Rider .22 LR/.22 WMR Revolver with 4.75" Barrel and Pearl Grips
Heritage Mfg
The Heritage Rough Rider Bird Head .22 LR/.22 WMR revolver in 4.75" barrel with black finish is a compact, single-action rimfire that channels classic Old West styling into a modern shooter's tool. Built on an aluminum alloy frame with a steel barrel and cylinder, this six-shot revolver handles both .22 Long Rifle and .22 Magnum—giving you flexibility to match your ammunition to the task, whether that's target work, small-game hunting, or just having fun at the range. At 33.4 ounces with a bird's head grip in cocobolo wood, it balances authenticity with ergonomic practicality; the distinctive grip shape sits naturally in your hand and fits smaller hands and holsters that would reject a full-sized SAA clone.
Heritage engineered this gun around tight tolerances: the machined barrel locks into the frame with precision micro-threading to keep the barrel-to-cylinder gap consistent, which translates to reliable ignition and predictable point-of-aim. The action times cleanly with a 6-pound trigger pull, and a hammer block safety mounted in the recoil shield includes a red dot indicator so you know at a glance whether the gun is ready to fire. Open fixed rear sight and a front sight allow you to zero for your preferred distance without any proprietary tools.
The 4.75" barrel strikes a sweet spot: short enough for everyday carry and fast handling, long enough to wring genuine velocity from .22 Magnum and hold zero over reasonable hunting distances. The black finish protects the steel surfaces against corrosion, and the cocobolo grips age beautifully with use. Whether you're breaking in a junior shooter, plinking in the backyard, or setting up for small varmint hunting, this Rough Rider delivers the feel of a single-action revolver without the cost, recoil, or maintenance demands of a centerfire.
