The Heritage Rough Rider .22LR revolver with 6.5" barrel is a budget-friendly single-action rimfire built for casual shooting, small-game control, and backcountry fun. If you're looking for an affordable, reliable .22 handgun that won't break the bank but delivers genuine cowboy-gun charm, this one delivers. The black-on-black finish with gold PVD accents gives it a refined look that stands out from plain utilitarian .22s, while the fixed sights and manual safety keep things straightforward and mechanical.

The Rough Rider line has earned a solid reputation among shooters who want to ring steel, dispatch varmints, or simply enjoy low-cost trigger time without the complexity of modern semi-autos. The 6-round cylinder, fixed front and rear sights, and classic single-action trigger pull harken back to old-school revolver handling—there's something satisfying about the deliberate pace of a single-action .22. The black laminate grip is durable and ready for work, while the alloy steel cylinder and black oxide finish on the frame are built to handle regular use.

This is a no-frills handgun for shooters who value function and value equally. It's light, compact enough for carry if your state allows, and entertaining to shoot. The .22 LR cartridge is inherently quiet and gentle on the wallet, making it ideal for extended range sessions or teaching new shooters the fundamentals of revolver handling. If you want a gun that just works, costs less than a box of factory ammo for something fancier, and looks good doing it, the Rough Rider in this black-and-gold configuration is worth a close look.
