The Heritage Rough Rider 22LR revolver is a single-action rimfire that splits the difference between a fun plinking gun and a genuinely useful trainer. Six-and-a-half inches of barrel give you decent sight radius and velocity for target work, while the compact, lightweight aluminum frame keeps it handy enough for casual shooting or small-game hunting. The 6-round capacity and fixed sights keep things straightforward—no complicated levers or adjustments to fuss with. If you're looking for an affordable, low-recoil handgun to build fundamentals, introduce a younger shooter to centerfire discipline, or just spend an afternoon at the range without breaking the bank on ammunition, the Rough Rider delivers honest, no-frills performance in a package that won't fatigue your wrist or wallet.

The black pearl grips provide good purchase and a classic look that matches the blue finish. At just over 33 ounces, this is a gun you'll actually carry or keep in a pack without regret. The single-action trigger is clean and straightforward—pull all the way back and it breaks predictably every time. There's no decocker or safety lever to learn; the hammer sits fully down on an empty chamber, just like a traditional revolver should.

Heritage has built a reputation on making budget-conscious shooters smile without cutting corners on reliability. The Rough Rider 22LR is that philosophy in rimfire form: simple, tough, and ready to work.
