The Great Lakes Firearms AR-15 .450 Bushmaster is a purpose-built rifle for hunters and shooters who want serious stopping power in a modern, modular platform. Built on a 7075 aluminum upper and lower receiver, this 18-inch rifle delivers the distinctive ballistics of .450 Bushmaster—a cartridge that's become a favorite for hunting medium to large game and for shooters seeking hard-hitting performance at intermediate distances. The FDE/SS finish combines a flat dark earth composite with stainless steel components for a clean, professional look that works in the field or at the range.

The 18-inch barrel is threaded 11/16 x 24 and comes dressed with a muzzle brake designed to be installed wrench-tight without Loctite—no special tools or adhesives required. The midlength gas system uses a 0.750 gas block and tube, tuned for the .450 Bushmaster cartridge. Modified M4 feed ramps and a mil-spec polymer grip keep the handling familiar for anyone versed in standard AR controls. The full-length Picatinny rail on the 15.25-inch aluminum handguard gives you unlimited mounting options for optics, lights, lasers, or other tactical accessories.

At just 6.4 pounds, this rifle balances naturally and doesn't fatigue you on a long hunt or range session. The magazine capacity is 5 rounds, with one magazine included in the box. The mil-spec trigger breaks at 5.5 to 6 pounds—a solid, predictable let-off for hunting and tactical applications. Overall length comes to 35 inches, making it compact enough for vehicle storage or navigating brush without losing the sight radius you need for accurate shooting.
