The Great Lakes Firearms AR-15 in .350 Legend is a purpose-built platform for hunters and shooters who want a modern, semi-automatic rifle chambered in one of the most effective intermediate cartridges available. Compact at 16 inches, this rifle balances firepower with practical handling in the field or at the range. Chambered in .350 Legend—a cartridge that splits the difference between .223 velocity and .308 power—this AR delivers genuine utility for medium game hunting and tactical applications where an intermediate round makes sense.
Built on a 7075 aluminum upper and lower, this rifle is both lightweight and rigid. The barrel comes in your choice of 416R stainless steel or 4150 Chrome-Moly with Nitride finish, both dressed in Cerakote and threaded 9/16 x 24 for suppressors or brakes. The 1:10 twist rate is optimized for .350 Legend performance. A carbine-length gas system and modified M4 feed ramps ensure reliable cycling, while the full-length Picatinny-railed handguard gives you the real estate to mount optics, lights, or other tactical gear. A mil-spec trigger breaks at 5.5–6 pounds, familiar to anyone who's shot an AR platform. The receiver and accessories come slicked with Cerakote for durability in harsh conditions.
This is not a tricked-out rifle—it's a clean, no-nonsense platform that ships with one 5-round magazine and an included muzzle brake, ready to go to work. At 6.4 pounds unloaded, it won't wear you out in the field. No sights are included, so you'll need to plan your optic setup, but the full rail system leaves plenty of options. It's a solid choice for hunters who want AR ergonomics and modularity in an intermediate cartridge, or shooters building a .350 Legend AR from scratch.
