The Great Lakes Firearms AR-15 .350 Legend 16" FDE rifle is a modern take on a practical intermediate cartridge built on a proven platform. Chambered in .350 Legend—a straight-walled round that's legal for rifle hunting in many states with traditional firearms seasons—this AR delivers the ergonomics and modularity of the modern rifle system with the ballistics suited to medium-range hunting and dynamic range work. The 16-inch barrel with a 1:10 twist balances velocity and handling, while the flat dark earth (FDE) Cerakote finish resists rust and looks right at home in field or truck. At just 6.4 pounds and 33.25 inches overall, it's light enough to carry all day and compact enough to move through tight cover.

Built on a 7075 aluminum upper and lower receiver, this semi-automatic rifle comes with a 15.25-inch free-floating handguard with full Picatinny rail, letting you mount optics, lights, or accessories exactly where you need them. The barrel—available in either 416R stainless steel or 4150 CRMOV with nitride finish—threads at 9/16x24, and the included muzzle brake helps manage recoil and muzzle rise. A carbine-length gas system with 0.750 gas block keeps the action reliable across a range of .350 Legend loads. The mil-spec trigger breaks clean at 5.5–6 pounds, and the mil-spec polymer grip fits standard AR controls you already know.

The rifle feeds from modified M4 ramps, ships with one 5-round magazine, and comes without sights—leaving you free to choose your own optic setup based on your hunting or range plans. No ambidextrous safety here, so left-handed shooters should plan accordingly. This is a purpose-built .350 Legend rifle that doesn't overcomplicate things: it runs, it's accurate, and it handles like an AR should.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this .350 Legend AR-15 legal for hunting?

The .350 Legend is a straight-walled cartridge designed for states that permit rifles during traditional firearms seasons. Legality depends on your state and the specific game you're pursuing—check your local hunting regulations before heading out.

Can I suppress this rifle?

Yes. The barrel is threaded 9/16x24, a standard suppressor thread pitch. You'll need to purchase a suppressor separately and comply with all federal and state regulations.

Does this rifle come with sights or an optic?

No. The rifle ships without iron sights or an optic. The full Picatinny rail on the handguard and upper receiver gives you complete freedom to choose a scope, red dot, or other mounting solution that suits your intended use.

Is the safety ambidextrous?

No. The safety is standard (right-hand operation). Left-handed shooters should be aware of this before purchase.
