Great Lakes Firearms AR-15 .350 Legend 16" ODG/SS 5-Round Rifle
Great Lakes Firearms
The Great Lakes Firearms AR-15 chambered in .350 Legend offers a lightweight, semi-automatic platform purpose-built for hunters and shooters who want modern rifle capability in a compact, manageable package. This 16-inch barreled rifle combines practical ergonomics with solid construction, making it a natural fit for hunters moving through brush, hunters in vehicles, or anyone seeking a modern sporting rifle that doesn't demand a full-length centerfire commitment. The .350 Legend round itself—a relatively new, straight-walled cartridge—has gained traction in states with straight-walled centerfire hunting regulations, and this Great Lakes build delivers the ammunition's potential without unnecessary bulk.
The rifle is built on a proven AR-15 platform with a 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower for rigidity and weight savings. Your choice of barrel steel—either corrosion-resistant stainless or 4150 chrome-moly with nitride hardening—keeps the gun lean at 6.4 pounds and ready for field work. The 16-inch barrel wears a 1:10 twist optimized for the cartridge, threads for aftermarket muzzles (9/16x24 standard), and arrives with a muzzle brake installed. A 15.25-inch handguard with full Picatinny rail lets you add optics, lights, or other tactical gear as your mission demands.
Handling is pure AR-15 familiar: mil-spec trigger (5.5–6 lb pull), mil-spec polymer grip, and a carbine-length gas system with 0.750-inch gas block. The rifle ships optics-ready, with no factory sights, so you can mount the sight picture that matches your hunting style. One five-round magazine is included; the compact capacity keeps the platform compliant in many jurisdictions while remaining quick to reload in the field.

The .350 Legend is a straight-walled cartridge approved for deer hunting in multiple states that restrict hunting centerfire rifle use to straight-walled rounds. Always verify your state and local hunting regulations before purchase and use, as laws vary by region.
The 15.25-inch handguard is topped with a full Picatinny rail, so you can mount any standard Picatinny-compatible optic—scopes, red-dots, magnified combos, or backup iron sights. No factory sights come installed, giving you the freedom to set up your sight picture exactly how you want it.
One five-round magazine is included with your rifle. The five-round capacity keeps the platform compliant with capacity restrictions in some areas while remaining practical for hunting and sport shooting.
The muzzle brake is included and installed. The threads are 9/16x24, a common standard that accepts many aftermarket suppressors and brakes. Barrel swaps are possible on the AR-15 platform, but any modifications should be performed by someone familiar with firearms assembly and local law.
