The Great Lakes Firearms AR-15 .350 Legend is a modern sporting rifle built for hunters and shooters who want a potent intermediate cartridge in a familiar platform. Chambered in .350 Legend with a 16-inch barrel, this semi-automatic rifle delivers the stopping power rifle hunters expect from a centerfire cartridge while keeping recoil and noise manageable on the range or in the field. At 6.4 lbs, it's light enough for a full day afield yet substantial enough to be steady at the bench.

Built on a 7075 aluminum upper and lower receiver with a hardcoat Cerakote finish, this rifle is designed to handle real-world use. The 16-inch barrel features a 1:10 twist rate and a muzzle brake is included right out of the box. The handguard is a 15.25-inch 6061 aluminum rail with full Picatinny coverage, giving you unlimited mounting options for lights, lasers, or accessories. A carbine-length gas system with a 0.750 black-oxide gas block keeps the action reliable and the ergonomics familiar to anyone who's handled an AR platform.

This rifle ships with one 5-round magazine and a mil-spec polymer grip. The trigger is mil-spec spec with a 5.5–6 lb pull, and sights are not included, leaving the top rail open for your optic of choice. The 9/16 x 24 threaded muzzle accepts standard AR suppressors and brakes. Overall length is 33.25 inches, making it a compact option for transport and use in tight spaces.

If you're building a .350 Legend rifle around a proven AR platform and want a no-nonsense, well-finished foundation, this Great Lakes offering delivers the core you need without the markup.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is .350 Legend and what is it used for?

.350 Legend is a modern intermediate rifle cartridge designed for hunting medium-sized game. It offers centerfire power in an AR-15 platform with controllable recoil and noise, making it popular with hunters in states with intermediate-cartridge regulations and shooters who want a versatile rifle for deer and similar game.

Can I mount an optic on this rifle?

Yes. The rifle ships without sights, and the top Picatinny rail is open and ready for any standard optic mount. The full-length handguard rail also allows mounting of accessories like lights or lasers forward of the receiver.

What's included and what do I need to add?

The rifle includes one 5-round magazine and a muzzle brake. You'll need to add an optic (or iron sights if you prefer), ammunition, and any additional magazines. The threaded muzzle accepts standard suppressors or aftermarket brakes if you want to swap the included brake.

Is this rifle ambidextrous?

No. The safety selector is not ambidextrous, so it is standard right-hand operation.
