The Diamondback 5.56x45mm AR pistol delivers serious firepower in a compact, maneuverable platform. Built on a forged 7075 T-6 aluminum upper and lower, this 7-inch barreled AR pistol handles 5.56 NATO/.223 Rem ammunition and comes ready to shoot with a 30-round PMAG, standard trigger, and MOE grip. At just 5.1 lbs and 23 inches overall, it's lightweight and quick enough for home defense, truck storage, or range work where a full-length rifle doesn't fit the mission.
The heavy 4150 CrMov barrel wears black nitride finish and runs a pistol-length gas system with a shot-peened, magnetic particle-inspected MIL-spec bolt carrier group for reliability under hard use. That 1:8 right-hand twist stabilizes a wide range of 5.56 loads. The 6-inch M-LOK handguard gives you clean rail space to add optics, lights, or laser without clutter, while the A2 flash hider (1/2x28) keeps muzzle signature down on indoor ranges or in low-light scenarios.
No sights come mounted, which means you're free to run your choice of optic or iron sights—whether you're setting up a red dot build or going with traditional backup irons. The buffer tube foam pad provides a soft shoulder interface, though many users upgrade with an SBM4 or similar stabilizing brace for even better control. This is a no-frills, feature-rich platform that works hard and won't empty your wallet.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the box?
The Diamondback AR pistol ships with a 30-round Gen 2 PMAG, MOE grip, and foam buffer pad already installed. No sights are mounted, allowing you to customize the optic setup from day one.
Can I add a stabilizing brace?
Yes. The buffer tube is standard 1.17-inch diameter, compatible with most commercial-spec braces like the SBM4 or Maxim Defense CQB. Verify local and federal regulations before installation.
What optics work with this AR pistol?
The flattop A3 upper receiver is Picatinny-railed and accepts any optic or mount designed for standard AR-15 pattern receivers. Red dots, low-power scopes, and magnified optics all mount directly to the upper.
Is this 5.56 NATO or .223 Remington?
This pistol is chambered in 5.56 NATO and safely fires both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition. The 1:8 twist barrel stabilizes both standard and heavier bullet weights.
