The Colt King Cobra Carry is a compact .357 Magnum revolver built for shooters who need serious stopping power in a deep-carry package. This 2-inch barreled wheelgun chambers six rounds of full-power magnum or .38 Special ammunition, delivering the ballistic authority of a magnum in a frame small enough for appendix, ankle, or off-body carry. If you've carried a snub-nose .38 but wanted more velocity and energy downrange, the King Cobra Carry bridges that gap without the bulk of a 4-inch service revolver.
The revolver is built on a heavy-duty stainless steel frame and barrel with a brushed matte finish—practical aesthetics that hide holster wear and fingerprints while resisting corrosion in vehicles, bags, and daily carry environments. Double-action-only (DAO) operation means there's no single-action hammer to snag on clothing during the draw, and every press of the trigger follows the same deliberate, consistent path. At 26 ounces, it's substantial enough to manage recoil in both magnum and standard pressure loads, yet light enough that all-day carry remains realistic. Hogue overmolded grips provide purchase in wet conditions and absorb the snap of magnum loads, while the brass bead front sight offers a quick target acquisition point in low light.
The King Cobra Carry appeals to experienced revolver carriers—law enforcement off-duty holster, civilian backup to a primary, or primary carry for those who trust wheelgun reliability and simplicity over magazine-fed capacity. It's not a target gun or a range toy; it's purpose-built for concealment without compromise in terminal performance. Dry practice, holster selection, and ammunition choice are your responsibility, as with any carry firearm.
