The Colt Gold Cup Trophy .45 ACP pistol is built for shooters who demand precision and reliability in competition. Whether you're a weekend competitor working up through the ranks or a serious tactical sport shooter, this SAO (single-action-only) handgun delivers the ergonomic refinement and accuracy that have made the Gold Cup name synonymous with match-grade performance. The model O5070XE combines Colt's legacy of precision with modern competitive features designed to shave fractions off your splits and tighten your groups when it counts.

The Gold Cup Trophy starts with a 5-inch barrel and tight tolerances built for repeatability shot after shot. Competition ergonomics are built in: the front and back straps wear 25 LPI (lines per inch) checkering for a secure, non-slip grip in rapid fire or sustained strings. The beveled magazine well speeds reloads during timed stages, while the adjustable rear sight lets you dial in your zero and dial it in tight. The slide sports a competition-blue finish that looks as sharp as it performs, and the G10 grip panels are finished to match—form and function in one package.

With an 8+1 capacity, the Gold Cup Trophy feeds .45 ACP and handles everything from bullseye to action pistol sports. This is a purpose-built tool for shooters who take precision seriously, whether you're running IPSC, IDPA, or simply chasing tighter groups at the range. If you've been eyeing a .45 that shoots as good as it looks and handles like it was made for your hand, the Colt Gold Cup Trophy deserves your attention.
