Colt Competition Two-Tone .45 ACP Pistol - Model O1070CCS-TT, High-Performance Handgun
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 45 ACP
The Colt Competition Two-Tone .45 ACP pistol is built for shooters who demand precision and control at the range and in competition. This single-action, hammer-fired .45 ACP handgun combines a stainless steel frame with a matte black slide for a two-tone finish that's as functional as it is distinctive. With a 5-inch National Match barrel, Novak-style sights featuring a fiber optic front sight, and purposeful ergonomic touches like the upswept grip safety and skeletonized hammer, the O1070CCS-TT is engineered for shooters serious about accuracy and trigger performance.
Colt's Competition series draws from decades of 1911 refinement, and this model reflects that heritage with attention to the details that matter downrange. The National Match barrel pairs with a 1:16 left-hand twist, 6-groove rifling to stabilize .45 ACP rounds consistently. An 8-round magazine capacity keeps the focus on shot placement rather than frequent reloads. The G10 grips provide a secure, non-slip purchase whether your hands are dry or the competition heats up.
Whether you're working toward faster splits in IDPA or IPSC matches, fine-tuning your accuracy at 25 yards, or simply demanding a .45 ACP with genuine competition credentials, this Colt delivers the kind of steel-and-trigger reliability that's made the platform a mainstay for competitive shooters. The fiber optic front sight picks up light quickly, and the overall dimensions—8.5 inches in length, 5.5 inches in height—keep the gun manageable without sacrificing the sight radius serious competitors expect.
