The Colt Defender 9mm semi-auto pistol is a hammer-fired compact carry gun built on proven 1911 design fundamentals. Model O7802XE pairs the reliability hunters, shooters, and civilians have trusted from Colt for over a century with a form factor purpose-built for concealed carry and defensive use. If you're looking for a 9mm pistol that doesn't compromise on heritage, accuracy, and stopping power for the sake of size, the Defender delivers—without the learning curve of an unfamiliar manual of arms.

The hammer-fired design gives you the manual safety and trigger control that shooters expect from a quality 1911-pattern pistol, scaled down for everyday carry. An 8+1 round capacity means you've got a reload's worth of ammunition on board, and the blue finish carries that classic Colt look while holding up to regular use. Whether you're at the range, in the field, or carrying for personal defense, the Defender offers the kind of ergonomics and controls that feel natural to anyone who's run a traditional 1911.

This is a serious carry pistol for shooters who know what they want and aren't interested in fads or compromises. The Defender earns its place in the Colt lineup because it does one job very well—put a 9mm bullet downrange accurately and reliably when it matters.
