The Christensen Arms Modern Carbon Rifle (MCR) in 6.5 PRC is built for hunters and shooters who refuse to compromise between weight and capability. This 22-inch rifle combines a lightweight FFT carbon fiber stock with a Remington 700–style stainless steel action, delivering the kind of handling balance that matters on long stalks and at the range. The 6.5 PRC cartridge brings proven long-range performance to a package that doesn't punish you for carrying it all day.

At the heart of the MCR is a hand-lapped, button-rifled carbon fiber barrel with a Match chamber—the kind of precision engineering that shows up in group sizes. The barrel comes threaded 5/8×24 and fitted with a premium RFR-style side-baffle brake, so you can add a suppressor or run it as-is. The action wears a 20-MOA optic-ready Picatinny rail, a skeletonized bolt handle with FFT carbon fiber bolt knob, and a crisp TriggerTech trigger factory-set at 3.5 pounds with a 2.5-pound adjustability range.

The stock is where the MCR really shines for field use. Full-length M-LOK slots on the forearm let you mount gear exactly where you want it, while a push-button-operated FFT carbon fiber cheek riser adjusts to your scope height. Front and rear QD attachment points give you sling options, and spacers let you dial in length of pull. The hybrid grip angle and ergonomic design mean you'll shoot it naturally, all day, without fatigue.

This is a rifle for serious long-range hunters and precision shooters who value a lightweight, modular platform they can configure and carry without regret.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Christensen Arms MCR compatible with standard Remington 700 magazines and accessories?

The MCR uses a Remington 700–style action and accepts detachable magazines, but compatibility with specific aftermarket parts should be confirmed with the manufacturer. The rifle ships as a complete system, so you won't need additional parts out of the box.

Can I add a suppressor to this rifle?

Yes. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 and designated as suppressor-ready, making it straightforward to thread on a silencer compatible with that pitch.

What's included with the rifle?

The rifle ships complete with the premium RFR-style muzzle brake already installed on the threaded barrel. No additional components are promised beyond what's standard to the rifle itself.

What's the difference between the FFT carbon fiber stock and a traditional synthetic stock?

FFT carbon fiber is lighter and more durable than conventional materials. The MCR's FFT stock also features integrated modularity—M-LOK slots, an adjustable cheek riser, and QD attachment points—that work together as a cohesive platform for customization without adding weight.
