The Christensen Arms Modern Carbon .308 Win rifle delivers competition-grade precision and field-proven durability in a package that rewrites what's possible with carbon fiber construction. Built on a Remington 700 style action and topped with a free-floating, hand-lapped carbon fiber barrel in .308 Winchester, this 22-inch rifle pairs serious accuracy potential with genuine lightweight handling. Whether you're setting up a long-range hunting rig, building a precision target gun, or looking for a suppressor-ready platform, the MCR combines innovative engineering with thoughtful ergonomics that work in the field and on the bench.

The barrel is a Christensen Arms aerograde carbon fiber design featuring a Match chamber and button rifling for consistency shot to shot. The muzzle is suppressor-ready with 5/8x24 thread pitch and wears a premium RFR-style side-baffle brake that manages recoil without the bulk of traditional designs. All of this is mounted to a coated stainless steel action with an adjustable TriggerTech trigger tuned to a 3-pound factory setting—adjustable down to 2.5 pounds if you prefer a lighter break. The optic-ready 20-MOA Picatinny rail sits directly on the receiver, so you can mount your choice of scope without shimming.

The stock is where Christensen's FFT (Flat Front Technology) carbon fiber shows its purpose: a full-length M-LOK forearm for mounting accessories, push-button adjustable cheek riser for quick optics-height correction, and adjustable length of pull via spacers so it fits your frame. Front and rear quick-detach points let you sling it fast. The skeletonized bolt handle and carbon fiber bolt knob keep rotating mass minimal, and the hybrid grip angle sits naturally under most shooting positions. This is a rifle built for serious shooters who refuse to compromise between weight savings and accuracy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this rifle suppressor-ready?

Yes. The muzzle is threaded 5/8x24 and comes equipped with a premium RFR-style side-baffle brake, making it straightforward to attach a suppressor designed for that thread pitch.

What is the trigger pull weight, and can it be adjusted?

The trigger ships factory-set to 3 pounds. The TriggerTech trigger is adjustable down to 2.5 pounds if you want a lighter break, giving you flexibility to customize the feel to your preference.

Does the stock fit different body types and shooting positions?

Yes. The FFT carbon fiber stock includes adjustable length of pull via spacers, so you can customize the fit to your frame and shooting style. The push-button adjustable cheek riser also lets you quickly dial in the right height for your optic and cheek weld.

What rail system is used for mounting accessories?

The forearm features full-length M-LOK, which accepts standard M-LOK accessory mounts. The integrated Picatinny rail section and optic-ready 20-MOA rail on the receiver provide additional mounting options for optics and accessories.
