The Christensen Arms Mesa FFT in .300 PRC is a backcountry bolt-action rifle built for hunters who count every ounce on the trail. Starting at just 5.5 pounds, this featherweight performer combines a stainless steel barrel with carbon-fiber construction to deliver a rifle that won't wear you down over those long alpine approaches—without sacrificing the accuracy you need when the moment comes. The Mesa FFT is engineered around the premise that hunting success starts with the ability to get there, climb higher, and stay steady when it counts.

The barrel is where Christensen Arms' accuracy reputation lives. A 416R stainless steel featherweight contour keeps weight minimal while maintaining rigidity. The barrel is hand-lapped, button-rifled, and free-floating to tight tolerances, then topped with a match chamber for consistent precision. A seamless radial muzzle brake (removable, threaded 1/2"-28 or 5/8"-24) tames recoil and is finished in your choice of tungsten or burnt bronze Cerakote for durability in tough conditions.

The action is a Remington 700-compatible platform with a skeletonized bolt handle that sheds weight without cutting corners. Christensen Arms fitted it with a Trigger Tech trigger for clean breaks, billet aluminum bottom metal, and an enlarged ejection port for reliable feeding. The 4-round internal magazine (3-round capacity in magnum calibers) stays low-profile and secure. The FFT carbon-fiber stock wears stainless steel bedding pillars and spot bedding to keep zero solid, with a recoil pad for comfort. Both action and stock feature tungsten Cerakote and black with gray accent finishes for a proven, professional look.

Backed by the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee, the Mesa FFT is built for serious hunters who understand that a lightweight, accurate rifle is an investment in more opportunities—and more successful ones. This is the rifle for the backcountry purist.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Mesa FFT Remington 700 compatible?

Yes. The action uses a standard Remington 700 optics base, so it works with any standard Rem 700 rail and scope mounting system.

Can I remove the muzzle brake?

Yes. The radial muzzle brake is seamlessly integrated and removable. The barrel is threaded 1/2"-28 or 5/8"-24 (verify which thread pitch is on your rifle) to accept other brakes, suppressors, or a thread protector.

What does the Sub-MOA Guarantee mean?

Christensen Arms guarantees the rifle's accuracy to deliver sub-MOA (minute of angle) groups—meaning under 1 inch of spread at 100 yards—when fired with quality ammunition and proper shooting technique.

How much ammunition does the magazine hold?

The internal magazine holds 4 rounds in standard calibers and 3 rounds in magnum calibers like .300 PRC.
