The Browning X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon is a modern hunting rifle built for shooters who demand precision, lightweight handling, and the flexibility to run suppressors. Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with a 24-inch carbon fiber–wrapped stainless steel barrel threaded at 5/8–24, this rifle bridges the gap between a traditional hunting setup and a suppressor-ready platform. The Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish provides serious corrosion resistance, while the Browning OVIX camouflage pattern on the composite stock keeps you concealed in the field.
The X-Bolt 2 platform is all about control and comfort. The new Vari-Tech composite stock gives you real adjustability—length of pull, comb height, and grip angle all dial in to fit your build and shooting style. Swap between a sporter grip and a vertical grip depending on how you're hunting or training. The redesigned bolt features a spiral flute pattern, extended handle, and ergonomic knob that cycles smooth and fast; the 60-degree lift clears most modern optics without forcing you to expose your cheek from the scope. A new Inflex Recoil Pad soaks up punishment, and the included Recoil Hawg muzzle brake can reduce felt recoil by up to 76%—or unscrew it to thread on a suppressor. The patented adjustable DLX trigger is tuned for hunting, and Browning's X-Lock scope mounting system locks down four screws per base for zero movement. All of this rides on a redesigned receiver with enhanced bolt guidance and a bedded action that keeps the barrel floating for consistency.
This is the rifle for the hunter who wants serious accuracy out of a package that doesn't weigh a ton and won't break your shoulder. The 6.5 Creedmoor is ballistically forgiving at distance, and the carbon fiber barrel keeps the whole gun nimble. Whether you're glassing a ridge, setting up for a long-range shot, or prepping the rifle for a suppressor down the road, the X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon delivers the precision and adaptability modern hunting demands.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this rifle suppressor-ready?
Yes. The barrel is threaded at 5/8–24, and the Recoil Hawg muzzle brake is included as a thread protector. You can unscrew the brake and attach a suppressor that matches the threading.
What does the adjustable stock actually do?
The Vari-Tech composite stock lets you adjust length of pull to fit your arm length, comb height to dial in your cheek weld for your specific optic, and grip angle for comfort. You can also swap between a sporter grip and a vertical grip depending on your shooting setup.
How much does the Recoil Hawg brake reduce recoil?
Browning rates the Recoil Hawg muzzle brake at up to 76% felt recoil reduction. The 6.5 Creedmoor is already mild, so paired with the new Inflex Recoil Pad, the X-Bolt 2 Speed Carbon is very shootable even from the bench or during long hunting sessions.
What's included with the rifle?
The rifle comes with the Recoil Hawg muzzle brake installed as a thread protector, ready to be replaced with a suppressor or left in place for brake-style recoil management.
