The Browning Maxus II Rifled Deer is a semi-automatic shotgun purpose-built for slug hunting and designed to deliver the accuracy and handling you need in the deer woods. Built on the proven Maxus II platform, this 12-gauge shotgun pairs a 22-inch fully rifled barrel with a cantilever Weaver-style scope mount, letting you dial in a rifle scope or red dot and hit your target with rifle-like precision. The composite stock features a vertical grip and overmolded gripping surfaces that keep the gun stable in your hands whether you're in a treestand or stalking through thick brush—and it's adjustable for length of pull, cast, and drop so you can dial in the fit to your frame.

The Maxus II platform is known for its soft recoil characteristics and smooth cycling, which matters when you're hunting all day or taking follow-up shots. The Ovix Camo finish blends into mixed cover and brush, keeping you concealed while you're glassing and waiting for a buck. This is a serious slug gun: the fully rifled barrel and scope mount combination gives you the ballistic accuracy of a rifled shotgun without the learning curve or the need to retrofit aftermarket rails and adapters.

Whether you're hunting in shotgun-only zones, pursuing whitetail over bait or from a blind, or running slugs on your favorite hunting land, the Maxus II Rifled Deer combines the dependability of a semi-auto action with the precision potential of a dedicated slug gun. It's a clean, no-nonsense choice for hunters who want to reach out farther and shoot straighter than traditional smoothbore shotguns allow.
