The Browning Maxus II Sporting is a gas-operated autoloading shotgun built for competitive shooters and serious clays hunters who demand a responsive, reliable platform. This 12-gauge semi-auto pairs proven performance with features specifically tuned for the sporting clays range—adjustable comb, quality stock work, and a balanced profile that keeps you on target through high-volume shooting. Whether you're running a registered event or practicing your technique, the Maxus II Sporting delivers the repeatability and handling you need to stay competitive.

The gun wears a satin-finished Turkish walnut stock with a close-radius grip and matte black metal work for a classic, no-nonsense look. The adjustable comb lets you dial in your stock fit without guesswork, and the Inflex II recoil pad helps manage the punishment of extended sessions behind the gun. You get a HiViz TriComp fiber optic front sight and ivory mid-bead to pick up targets fast in varied lighting, plus Browning includes five Midas Grade choke tubes (Full, Improved Modified, Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet) so you're ready for any presentation the course throws at you.

Internally, the Maxus II uses Browning's Power Drive System gas operation—designed for smooth cycling and reduced felt recoil—with a nickel Teflon-coated magazine tube, chrome chamber and bore, and a lightning-fast trigger that breaks clean. The oversize bolt handle and bolt release make manipulation second nature, even in the heat of competition. A magazine cut-off, TurnKey plug system, and Speed Load Plus keep things fast and versatile. An ABS hard case is included to protect your investment between matches.
