The Maxus II carries forward the gas-operated reputation of its predecessor while adding real comfort upgrades—a new SoftFlex cheek pad, thicker Inflex recoil pad, and overmolded grip panels on the stock and forearm—that ease the recoil punishment of heavy magnum loads. Whether you're working a marsh early season or pushing into a late-season slog, this is a shotgun designed to stay running when it counts.

At the heart of the Maxus II is the Power Drive Gas System, a tuned operating mechanism that cycles reliably across a wide spectrum of ammunition without sacrificing speed or adding unnecessary weight. The Lightning Trigger—known for the fastest lock time in its class—pairs with oversized bolt release and bolt handle controls for intuitive, confident operation even when wearing gloves. A fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead help you stay on target in low light, and the nickel Teflon coating on the bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, and release resists corrosion and reduces friction. Chrome chamber and bore add another layer of durability for long-term use in wet environments.

The composite stock can be trimmed up to 3/4 inch and adjusted via shims for cast and length of pull, fitting a broader range of shooters comfortably. New to the Maxus II is a screw-on magazine cap—a simple change that opens the door to magazine extensions for competition or specialized hunting setups. You get three extended Invector-Plus choke tubes out of the box and a durable ABS hard case for transport and storage. The 26" barrel and lightweight magazine tube keep weight manageable for all-day hunting without sacrificing the reliability that made the original Maxus a field standard.

We only ship firearms to valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders. At checkout we provide a FFL locator for your convenience.

We will need a copy of the FFL’s license to facilitate the process, kindly request your dealer to email us a copy of their FFL, as we cannot dispatch the firearm until we receive this document. It is imperative for the buyer to choose their FFL dealer, ensure they are willing to facilitate the transfer, and have them email their FFL copy to BOSQUE Outdoors. To avoid any confusion, the customer's name or order number must be mentioned in the email containing the FFL.

  • Prior to placing an order, it is the buyer's responsibility to understand and adhere to their state's firearm regulations.
  • The buyer should verify with their receiving dealer that the chosen firearm is legally permissible in their state.
  • The buyer is accountable for any transfer fees or background check charges imposed by the receiving dealer. If the designated dealer declines to accept the firearm delivery, the buyer assumes responsibility for shipping costs to retrieve the firearm and resend it to an accommodating dealer.
  • Handguns will be shipped using air transportation, while long guns can be shipped using ground methods. If your order includes a mix of firearm and non-firearm items, BOSQUE Outdoors will send the firearm(s) to your selected FFL dealer and the remaining non-firearm items to your billing address.
  • Firearms cannot be returned to BOSQUE Outdoors; please contact the manufacturer for warranty claims.
  • Firearms refused by the FFL Dealer or which cannot be transferred due to a failed background check are subject to a $75 restocking fee plus 10% of the purchase price.
