The Browning Citori CXT with adjustable comb is a 12-gauge over/under shotgun built to handle both the trap line and the hunting field without compromise. If you've ever felt stuck choosing between a dedicated trap gun and a hunting rig, this is the gun that answers that problem. The CXT bridges those two worlds with sporting features and a versatile design that works equally well at the range or in the uplands.
Built on a steel receiver with blued finish and gold-accented engraving, the Citori CXT feels as good as it looks. The Grade II American walnut stock wears a gloss finish and features a raised cheekpiece paired with an adjustable comb—a setup that lets you dial in your sight picture for trap, hunting, or whatever you're doing that day. The semi-beavertail forearm includes finger grooves for control and confidence. All told, this shotgun weighs 8 lbs 12 oz and carries an overall length of 49 inches, with a comfortable 14 3/8-inch length of pull.
The 32-inch barrels are ported and topped with a high-post floating rib and vented side ribs, engineered to a 70/30 point of impact. Vector Pro lengthened forcing cones reduce felt recoil and improve pattern consistency across the board. Three Invector-Plus Midas Grade choke tubes come in the box, giving you flexibility to adapt to different situations without swapping guns. The single selective trigger with a triple trigger system design keeps things simple and reliable, while hammer ejectors clear empties with authority. Ivory front and mid-bead sights help you stay on target, and the Inflex recoil pad softens the blow.
This is a shotgun that earns its place in your safe as a true multi-purpose workhorse—the kind of gun you won't outgrow or regret passing down someday.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this shotgun good for trap shooting?
Yes. The Citori CXT is specifically engineered for trap with a 70/30 point of impact, ported barrels, and a high-post floating rib that supports consistent sight picture and target acquisition. The adjustable comb lets you fine-tune your stock geometry to your eye, and the Vector Pro forcing cones and Inflex recoil pad manage recoil and improve pattern density—all essentials at the trap line.
Can I use this gun for hunting as well as trap?
Absolutely. The CXT is built as a crossover gun that performs in both disciplines. The three included Invector-Plus choke tubes give you the flexibility to adapt the barrel restriction to hunting situations, and the balanced handling and adjustable comb make it just as at home in the field as on the range.
What choke tubes come with the Browning Citori CXT?
The shotgun ships with three Invector-Plus Midas Grade choke tubes, allowing you to adjust constriction for different shooting scenarios without purchasing additional tubes.
What's the length of pull, and can it be adjusted?
The Citori CXT has a length of pull of 14 3/8 inches. The stock features an adjustable comb, which allows you to dial in your fit and sight picture, though the length of pull itself is set as manufactured.
