The Browning Citori Hunter is a classic over-and-under shotgun built for hunters who value proven reliability and balanced handling. This 12-gauge model features a 26-inch barrel and comes configured with everything you need for the field: three interchangeable flush choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder), a silver bead front sight for quick target acquisition, and an Inflex recoil pad to manage shot impulse on long hunting days.
Built on Browning's time-tested Citori action, this shotgun pairs traditional craftsmanship with practical features. The receiver sports a nickel-plated finish with gold enhancement that resists corrosion while maintaining that classic look, and the barrels wear a gloss finish that sheds water and reflects less light in the field. The stock is Grade II/III American walnut in satin finish—wood that's both attractive and durable, with the warmth hunters expect from a quality shotgun.
The 50/50 point of impact means shot placement is predictable whether you're covering upland birds, working a duck blind, or running clays at the range. The flush choke system lets you adapt to different hunting scenarios without carrying multiple guns, and the included choke tubes handle the most common shooting situations. This is a shotgun that rewards familiarity: pick it up, shoot it well, and rely on it season after season.

Frequently Asked Questions
What choke tubes come with this shotgun?
Three flush choke tubes are included: Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. These let you adjust the shot pattern for different hunting scenarios—tighter patterns for longer shots or more open patterns for closer work.
Is the Browning Citori Hunter good for hunting?
Yes. The 50/50 point of impact and 26-inch barrels make it versatile for upland birds, waterfowl, and other hunting applications. The flush choke system and included tube selection cover most hunting situations, and the Inflex recoil pad reduces fatigue on all-day hunts.
What kind of stock wood is this?
The stock is Grade II/III American walnut finished in satin. This is quality wood that's both attractive and durable for field use, without the high-gloss finish that can be slippery or reflective.
Will this shotgun handle recoil well?
The Inflex recoil pad is designed to manage felt recoil and make shooting more comfortable, especially during extended hunting sessions.
