The Browning Citori Hunter is a classic over/under shotgun built for the field. This 20-gauge model features a 28-inch barrel and comes with everything a hunter needs to get started—three flush choke tubes (Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder) and a receiver design that balances style with function. The nickel-plated receiver with gold accents gives it visual appeal without sacrificing durability, while the satin-finished Grade II/III American walnut furniture provides a traditional, comfortable feel in your hands.
Over/unders are known for their versatility and handling, and the Citori Hunter delivers on both fronts. The 50/50 point of impact means the shot pattern divides evenly between the barrels, making it a reliable choice whether you're hunting upland birds or working a clay course. The silver bead front sight aids target acquisition, and the Inflex recoil pad helps manage the gun's impulse—important for a day afield or at the range. The gloss-finished barrels are both functional and visually appealing.
This is a straightforward, honest shotgun: well-made, time-tested, and ready to perform. If you want an over/under that handles well, points naturally, and won't demand constant tinkering or fussing, the Citori Hunter deserves serious consideration.

Frequently Asked Questions
What choke tubes come with this shotgun?
The Citori Hunter includes three flush choke tubes: Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder. You can swap them to tailor your shot pattern for different game and distances.
Is this shotgun suitable for hunting and sport shooting?
Yes. The 50/50 point of impact and over/under design make it versatile for upland bird hunting, waterfowl hunting, and clay target sports. The balance and handling characteristics work well in both scenarios.
What does the Inflex recoil pad do?
The Inflex pad absorbs and distributes recoil energy, reducing felt kick. This makes shooting more comfortable during extended range sessions or hunting days.
What is the receiver made of and will it resist corrosion?
The receiver is nickel-plated with gold enhancement. Nickel plating provides solid corrosion resistance and is a traditional choice for shotgun receivers. It also gives the gun a refined, finished appearance.
