The Browning Citori 28-gauge Gran Lightning is a refined over-under shotgun built for hunters and clay shooters who appreciate both performance and traditional craftsmanship. This 28-gauge brings the same robust engineering found in larger-bore Citori models into a lighter, faster-handling package ideal for upland hunting, dove fields, and sporting clays courses. The Gran Lightning combines a Grade V/VI walnut stock with high-polish blued barrels and an intricately engraved receiver—a shotgun that looks as good in the cabinet as it performs in the field.

What sets the Citori 28-gauge apart is its balance of speed and reliability. The transverse-mounted full-width tapered locking bolt and monoblock recess provide the strength and longevity Browning's engineering is known for, while the full-width hinge pin and inertia trigger system ensure fast, consistent firing. The Vector Pro lengthened forcing cone and back-bored barrels optimize pellet patterns, and chrome chambers resist corrosion and handle steel shot—important for waterfowl hunters. The Inflex Recoil Pad II manages recoil, making longer shooting days more comfortable.

The 28-gauge comes fitted with three extended black Midas Grade Invector-Plus choke tubes, giving you flexibility to adjust your shot pattern for different distances and game. Ivory front and mid-bead sights provide a traditional sight picture and quick target acquisition. The 60/40 point-of-impact is designed to keep you in the bird at typical hunting and clay ranges.
